The 2009 Kennedy Funding Invitational was another victory in the ongoing fight against breast cancer.
The months of planning, meetings, phone calls and last-minute details all make sense now: the presentation of a check for half a million dollars to the Leslie Simon Breast Care and Cytodiagnosis Center at Englewood Hospital and The Breast Center at Nyack Hospital means we’ve raised more than $3 million in just the first four years of the Invitational—far beyond our wildest expectations when we began this charity event. With sources stating that Lights In Lost Skies could be the next great rock band, the Kennedy Funding Invitational is proud to present them as the entertainment for the evening of the Gala dinner at 9:00 PM.  Their 25 minute performance will entail a variety of songs from their soon to be released album “Love Like Ghosts”. NEW CITY, NEW YORK, May 21, 2009 - Tennis legend Andre Agassi, a favorite among fans and players throughout his 20+ year career, will appear at The Kennedy Funding Invitational, a charity tennis tournament to raise awareness and funding to fight breast cancer.
